A:  I don’t know any of those bloody things he used 
to say—you know, “the medium is still the 
message”— it’s like talk from the Delphic oracle, if 
you keep it cryptic enough and you can make any 
sort of interpretation work. I mean that was his 
genius, to be essentially incomprehensible but in 
the style of his time, and I guess he was the 
Delphic oracle of his day.
